Stuck with ideas on how to entertain your children these School Holidays?

Our school holiday programs are unique to each school and offer a range of club-based days, incursions and excursions, so check out your nearest location for the options available.
Your children do not have to attend the school where the Holiday Program is based in order to come along and join in the fun.

Theme-based

Theme-based days are seasonal and change from term to term. Educators provide an array of themed activities within the service.


These range from physical and craft activities to science experiments and cooking experiences.

Incursions

Incursion days are also within the service, but special guests join the service and provide an immersive experience for the kids to enjoy.

Some favourite incursions have included Coles Healthy Kicks, Silent Disco Parties, Cultural and Dance Workshops, and Circus Skills among many others.

Excursions

For our Excursion days, kids and Educators venture out of the school and to a variety of different venues. Kids love these exciting journeys and excursions offer epic activities like:

rock climbing

cinema sessions

fishing adventures

gymnastics centres

science and ninja parks

zoos

and many other places!

Primary OSHCare provides fun, engaging and high-quality Outside School Hours Care Programs to thousands of happy children every day and Holiday Programs available at many of our services during the school holidays.

Outside School Hours Care FAQs

  • Helping Hands Network team members are qualified as per National Quality Framework and Legislated Regulations and have demonstrated experience in working at OSHC services.

    These qualifications are commonly:

    • Diploma of Children Services (OSHC)

    • Certificate III or IV in Children Services

    • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Teaching for Primary School Aged children

    • And so many more.

    All team members employed by Helping Hands Network must provide the appropriate security checks before they are accepted.

    On employment, all team members must provide a copy of a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), which we verify through the Department of Justice website.

    Educators must also complete their qualifications in First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and Child Protection Training before working within our services.

    We also provide opportunities for our team to improve on their skills and progress within the company with an internal LMS and external training based off the requirements of the community.
