Our Centres

Exceptional out of school hours care

Every centre is designed, furnished and managed according to our vision of providing exceptional out of school hours care, in line with the National Quality Framework.  We deliver the framework for school age care in Australia outlined in the "My Time, Our Place" produced by the Australian Government department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations for the Council of Australian Governments.

Our programs and resources are developed and selected by qualified staff in consultation with the children, their families and the cultural norms of the communities we support. Looking after children at the beginning and end of the day requires a balance of fun and time to be care free as well as homework and opportunities to learn and grow.

At Primary OSHCare, lessons for life are learned. The service we provide is linked to national learning frameworks that recognise children learn from birth.  Planning for care based on the National Quality Standard and My Time, Our Place incorporates key delivery areas of

  • Educational program and practice
  • Children's health and safety
  • Physical environments
  • Staffing arrangements
  • Relationships with children
  • Collaborative partnerships with families and communities
  • Leadership and service management

At our centes we enhance the OSHC experience with modern kitchens, contemporary educational resources, our libraries are kept up to date featuring both popular and classic titles. Our premises are light, bright and clean, and we keep the environments stimulating with regularly updated toys and soft furnishings.

Since 2004, our service has expanded throughout Sydney. Daily centre management is undertaken by a dedicated and qualified Co-ordinator working full time at each location. Staff training and development is continuous with a co-ordinated program of externally developed and delivered courses supplemented by customised in-house training facilitated by our experienced management team.

We take pride in our service and our facilities in order to inspire your confidence in us.

Nominate your charity

Many Primary OSHCare staff actively volunteer in the community in a wide range of charity, benevolent and good will roles. An aim of Team 10,000 will be to share information about these works. Staff will be invited to “put the case” for support forward for your charity or one you are really committed to.

  1. Join Team 10,000
  2. Share your ‘cause’ with your colleagues
  3. Promote its good work
  4. Give the work a chance to win $10,000+

Eligible charities must work to improve the lives of children and families.

T10,000 members are invited to nominate your charity or organisation. Tell us in 500 words or less tell us about your nomination – who they are, what they do and why they are suitable. Don’t forget to include your name and contact details.

Email your nomination to headoffice@primaryoshcare.com.au.
